Snow Crab and Redfish Processing Automation for Maximum Yield and Quality

It used to take numerous of the toughest workers to carry out the straining, repetitive work of butchering and cleaning crab by hand. With today's technology, multiple volumes can easily be processed by our machinery.

Sigurður Skulason, Regional Sales Manager, SKAGINN 3X, will show you at one of our most state-of-the-art plant, how the flesh of the crab sections can be processed in an ergonomic, yield-saving manner and without the use of mechanical brushes impacting the flesh.

With its mild taste, redfish is a popular item for a broad consumer base. Thanks to our tub lifting, descaling, and sorting solutions, preparing the fish for high-speed processing becomes almost effortless.

Based on a real-life example of one of our most advanced plants, Sigurður Skulason, Regional Sales Manager, SKAGINN 3X will explain to you, how our various machinery can support you, to further refine products as needed, from traditional skinning technology to online or offline defect trimming, as well as highly customized working stations for special tasks.

Nils Rabe joined BAADER in 2019 and has been a perfect addition from day one. His colleagues enjoy his straightforward and hands-on attitude, which helped him to integrate seamlessly. He must have gained his hard-working attitude by making its way to his Master of Business and Engineering by starting with an apprenticeship before going back to school to finish his A-levels. As a Sales Manager, he offers high customer orientation and can go the extra mile to meet their needs. He is married, with three kids.

Sigurður is an industry veteran with over 30 years' experience in the chilling and freezing solutions industry. He enjoys working closely with my clients in finding a solution that best suits their production. The SKAGINN 3X IQF and plate freezing for the food processing industry are his specialty. Spending most of my time on the road visiting customers and acquiring new projects, he knows how to foster client relationships and is renowned for solving even the most complex sales and services issues. As the protagonist of the successful Cold Facts campaign from SKAGINN 3X launched in 2020 he promotes the wide range of innovative chilling and food processing solutions, that now fully belong to the BAADER product portfolio.
